In the past couple of weeks, three events stand out. First, our little assembly at Km 14 held a “half-vigil”, a night of preaching, prayer, and worship songs. People from two other Kichwa speaking churches in the area came. Taylor preached one of the two sermons and our boys helped out with music. Alesha helped in the kitchen with the other ladies from Km 14 and Gracie helped by falling asleep on, but not falling off of, the narrow wooden bench. 😀

Less than a week later, our daughter, Glory, arrived back in Ecuador, so Taylor and some of the boys went to Quito to pick her up from the airport! She has a part time job teaching at an English school here in town; please pray for her has she starts classes with these kids on Monday!
Our latest happening was that the homeschool co-op started back up this Friday. It’s a privilege to open the library space and be part of this little community. You can pray with us that we would see the opportunities the Lord puts in front of us in both the scheduled responsibilities as well as in the unexpected chances to talk about His goodness!

Glad Gloria arrived home safe. Glad the trip to pick her up went well. We missed all of you at the study on Tuesday.
