It’s been over a week since we first made the garden, and, as is to be expected, there have been some changes!

First of all, the onions are growing! The old, outer leaves are wilting and dying, but the bluish fingers in the center are growing, and the bulb-stalk in the top right wasn’t there before!
A start of lemon grass, in Spanish called “hierba luisa”. It makes really good tea!
Unfortunately, the raspberry bushes don’t seem to be doing very well. Maybe/hopefully some of them will grow back?
A bucket of colorful cuttings that Mama is trying to sprout.
A space-saving flower bed. “Flower wall”?
The banana plant is noticeably yellower than it used to be, but the spinach is looking good. As for the elephant ear, it looks the same color it always is: purple!
A pepper plant that Mama moved to the new garden (it used to sit by the front door).
A cherry tomato plant that the spinach will just have to put up with!

Well, we’ve finished our round of the garden! See you soon!
